Teren przyklasztorny OO. Franciszkanów był kiedyś folwarkiem ze stajniami, chlewami i stodołami. Na początku XIX w. zaborcy umieścili tu urzędy i mieszkania świeckie. W okresie II w. św. budynki zaadaptowano na garaże niemieckie, później bazę przedsiębiorstwa transportowego. W latach ’60 XX w. mury okalające folwark rozebrano i odtąd jest to plac. Przed kościołem znajduje się pomnik kard. Adama Stefana Sapiehy dłuta Augusta Zamoyskiego.

The monastery grounds of the Franciscan fathers used to be a farm with stables, pigsties and barns. At the beginning of the nineteenth century, the invaders placed here offices and secular flats. During World War II, the buildings were converted to German garages, and later to a transport company base. In the 1960s the walls surrounding the manor house were demolished and since then it has been a square. In front of the church, there is a monument of Cardinal Adam Stefan Sapieha sculpted by August Zamoyski.
