Dolina Bibiczanki jest jednym z najmniej przekształconych przez człowieka fragmentem dolin rzecznych w granicach administracyjnych Krakowa. Posiada unikalne walory przyrodnicze i krajobrazowe. W wyższym biegu koryto potoku ma charakter zbliżony do naturalnego z meandrami oraz charakterystycznymi naprzemian występującymi plosami i bystrzami. Obserwowane w ostatnich latach zmiany klimatyczne a w konsekwencji wzrost udziału zjawisk ekstremalnych w postaci nawalnych deszczy sprawiły, że w okresie wiosennym i letnim wody Bibiczanki występują z koryta zalewając pobliską terasę. Siła żywiołu doprowadziła do zerwania mostku, który został odbudowany przy wsparciu funduszy z projektu UGB.

The Bibiczanka Valley is one of the least transformed by man fragment of river valleys within the administrative boundaries of Krakow. It has unique natural and scenic values. In the higher reaches, the streambed is similar in its form to the natural one with meanders and the characteristic alternations of steam pools and riffles. The climatic changes observed in recent years, as well as the consequent increase of extreme atmospheric phenomena in the form of heavy rains, caused that in spring and summer the waters of the Bibiczanka occur from the riverbed, flooding the nearby terrace. The force of the element led to the breaking of a bridge, which was rebuilt with the support of funds from the UGB project.
