Po prawej stronie okrągłego placyku widać okazały rozłożysty krzew iglasty – cis pospolity. Bardzo wolno rośnie, osiąga wys. 10-15 m. Żyje do 1000 lat. Kwiaty ma niepozorne. Nasiona znajdują się w czerwonej, soczystej osnówce, dojrzewają
w październiku i listopadzie, chętnie są zjadane przez ptaki. Pozostałe części cisa są trujące. Dobrze znosi zanieczyszczone powietrze. Drewno jest twarde i wytrzymałe. W Polsce jest chroniony.

On the right side of the circular square, you can see a splendidly spread coniferous shrub – common yew. It grows very slowly and reaches a height of 10-15 metres. It lives up to 1000 years. Its flowers are quite inconspicuous. The seeds are in a red, juicy aril and mature in October and November, also being eagerly eaten by birds. The rest of the yew is poisonous. It tolerates the polluted air well. The wood is hard and durable. It is under protection in Poland.
