A park and palace complex with a fascinating and turbulent history. It has fallen under various ownership over the years – from an Italian-style court garden to a recreational place for the residents of Cracow from different social strata. The heyday of the park is linked to Erazm Jerzmanowski, a patriot and a philanthropist, who invested a major part of his wealth in its development. A conservatory was built, a stream was dug and numerous bridges and sculptures were erected.
Nowadays the park boasts of a high variety of trees. Next to the pedunculate oak, red beech and hybrid plane, which are monuments of nature, there are to be found a warty birch, Manchurian birch and Japanese cherry trees.
